Vikrant Massey Wins Big at IIFA 2025, Grateful for ‘Sector 36’ Recognition

Ahead of his win, Massey expressed his gratitude for the nomination and showed no signs of nervousness.

The 25th International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) turned into a night of celebration as Vikrant Massey bagged the award for Performance in a Leading Role, Male (Film) for his powerful portrayal in Sector 36.

Sharing his excitement about being in Rajasthan for the prestigious event, Massey said, “This time I have come back home. And I am very happy to be in Jaipur, Rajasthan.”

Ahead of his win, Massey expressed his gratitude for the nomination and showed no signs of nervousness. “I think it is a big thing to get a nomination. We have to celebrate that. It is fortunate that my friends have also been nominated along with me. Whether we win or not, we have to celebrate that,” he told the media.

When asked about his dream IIFA performance, Massey named renowned choreographer Shiamak Davar as his inspiration. “I would like to perform with Shiamak Davar. He is my guru,” he added.

The IIFA 2025, currently underway in Jaipur, promises a star-studded night. The grand IIFA Awards Night on March 9 will feature a special tribute to the iconic film Sholay on its 50th anniversary with an exclusive screening at the historic Raj Mandir Cinema.

Adding to the glamour, legendary MMA fighter Anthony Pettis will make a special appearance, while Kartik Aaryan will take on hosting duties. Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to deliver a heartfelt performance, paying tribute to her grandfather, legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor.
